The Truth: Thank You Lord For A Beautiful Day

Thank You, Lord..

I don’t know about you but I always feel like the world we live in today is full of uncertainties and at times it really can be chaotic. In that, there are certain events that may confront us and make us want to question if everything that happens really is the will of God as the Bible tells us.

Especially at the most troubled times, we more often than not find ourselves wondering if that is the plan God had for us. It can be quite daunting when someone tells you to believe in Him and wait for His blessing and you probably just lost that job you worked really hard for or lost a loved one. But what you need to know is that everything is always under God’s control and wish.

If we ask in prayer, we always receive. As we are told in Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and hope” For that reason, in this article we will discuss why true identity is important in accomplishing your destiny and becoming successful.

Do I Need God’s Peace To Accomplish My Destiny?

What comes to mind when someone asks you what you are planning to do to accomplish your destiny? Probably you are thinking about hard work, a certain plan of action or even dedication to your work. But what about peace? Does this ever cross your mind even for a single moment?

What most people don’t know is that the most essential thing in accomplishing any plans or getting to your destiny is having God’s peace with you. It can be quite difficult to wait on the Lord when you literally have no idea what to do. You need to trust Him that He has your destiny in His caring hands.

You May Not Accomplish Much In The Face Of Chaos

I totally agree with this as it’s something I have experienced first-hand in my life; in a practical and physical way. Most are the times, I really struggle with my to-do list but this gets even worse when my house is in disarray. I always find myself confused as to where to begin.

But in cases when I’m working in a well-organized and clean environment it’s always very easy to get everything together. It just comes naturally as I can think clearly and in turn, I end up doing so much in the process. You need to know that in your life, chaos is one thing that you can never run away from.

Sometimes, you will feel like the struggles you have in your life are a huge tornado that wants to hit your walls hard. But the beauty with peace is that it allows us to think clearly and in a more organized manner. Hence, even when there are storms in your life, you always know what needs to be done.

God’s Peace Allows Us To Focus On What Really Matters

Believe it or not, peace is something that will always give you room to pay attention to what matters despite the situation at hand. A few years ago something happened in my neighborhood. There was this severe wind storm that really scared my kids a bid deal. The power outage lasted for days.

The whole time, I could look outside and worry about the pine trees in our backyard. I kept on thinking that they could be blown away just like our neighbor’s pines. My family, on the other hand, was in the house trying to make ensure we had enough food, water, heat, and light to keep us surviving for a few days.

In this situation, what was truly important was keeping the kids calm and assuring them all would be okay. But instead, I was there worrying about the trees. In our lives, the storms are always there to steal our attention. Our fears will always distract us from paying attention to what really matters. Don’t let them. Find some peace in your heart and you will be able to conquer and accomplish your destiny.

When You Choose Peace, You Choose To Rely On God’s Strength And Not Your Own

For any believer, peace is a choice that you have in your life. God’s peace is freely given to those who come unto Him for and become His children. Therefore, in our lives, we always have two choices. Either to abide in the sufficient peace given by God or live in fear and worry about tomorrow.

I don’t know about your days, but peace is always a choice I have to make every day of my life. And I can testify that the more I choose to live in His peace, the easier life becomes and the lesser the worries that I have. Tackling anything is much easier when you have a restless spirit. You are able to accomplish so much more with joy and peace in our hearts. Psalms 37: 23 “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord”

A man’s heart will always plan his way, but at the end of the day, it’s always God who directs his steps. In your life, you always have to test and at least plan things out. It may seem hard at first, but as you are struggling with all this, God is directing your steps in the right path. And before you know it, you will land on to where God wanted you to be.

Hence, when you let God take the wheel and be in control of your destiny, everything else falls in place in your life. As it is; God leads and all you have to do is follow His way. Our destiny in His hands and when we believe and trust in Him and then let him take control, we will have peace in our hearts and no longer have to worry about anything.

  1. Thank you for writing this post. Who we are makes a difference in how we access that peace. Christ purchased it for us, not only peace from death, sin and suffering (i.e., salvation), but peace that, as you said, our destiny is sure (sanctification and glorification). We walk not in unsteady, unsure steps, but in the fullness of our acceptance in Christ. We act in confidence, not that we’re always right, but that when we are wrong we will be lovingly guided and corrected and replaced on firm footing. It requires confession, repentance and restitution, but RECONCILIATION (with God AND man) is the beauty on the other side of that process. It’s all good!

Yes, there’s a lot to be thankful for and I needed to hear that again this morning. Thank you for being a believer who spreads the hope and peace of God’s Word and Person!

“Be not anxious in anything, but through prayer and thanksgiving, make your requests known to God and the peace of God which passes all understanding will GUARD your hearts and minds in Jesus Christ.’ Amen! (Philippians 4:6-7)

“You, O LORD, will keep that man in perfect peace whose mind is fixed upon You, for he trusts in You.” (Isaiah 26:3)

  4. That’s how it is! But some of the people you choose on the road love you. There Satan intervenes. Bring the rage of clouds over what you want to do. You are envied for the love God has given you. Great blessing to have!

    • Absolutely, I wish this life will be easier.. but it’s not, there is always a battle of good and bad. Blessing to you, Gelu.

  5. Thank you for sharing this message filled with adoration and praise. It gives me strength at a time when I doubt myself. I often wonder about the unexpected twists and turns my life has taken, but I remind myself that I am right where I am needed: a place in a sore need of service where my skills and talents will many people.

  6. “A man’s heart will always plan his way, but at the end of the day, it’s always God who directs his steps!”

That’s so true! I have always been a very ambitious person and at a certain point in my life, I tried so much to reach my goals of satisfaction. But nothing seemed to work, till one day when God in His mercy gave wings to fly and now I am living a dream every day of my life.

We are in His hands,as you said, but we have to give Him our part of sacrifice…so we can at the end, cry only for the happiness that fills our souls…

      • He is our light, our path, our breath from the beginning till the end and to eternity, and nothing can ever be complete without Him. Everything ends, but Him and the love that spreads throughout the people that have Him inside their hearts. I had the luck to meet that people in my life.
I think you are one of them 🙂

Thank you so much for your inspiring words.
