Thanksgiving is one of the most wonderful holidays we celebrate each year. It’s truly amazing that we cherish outstanding memories from the past, smoothly transitioning them into meaningful “Yes, we absolutely should be thankful for…” our days or now.
I’m sure that each of us has at least few thankful thoughts in our hearts on this wonderful day every year, right? Make sure before you eat a turkey to let the oldest member of a crew to say few bright thoughts and a prayer, and set a right mood for this wonderful celebration.
It’s the day when families get together to have a great time, to eat delicious dinner with turkey, green bean casserole, stuffing, sweet potato and for sure delightful home-baked pumpkin pie!
It’s the day when we all have an amazing uplifting mood, feel united and happy because we are together because we can spend this great time with our close family members, there is no better feeling!
Fantastic Dinner Is A Must.
Delicious food is one the most important parts of successful Thanksgiving day (as much as football, parade and Black Friday). Imagine for a second Thanksgiving day with no food, it’s simply a nonsense, I’m sure you will agree with me!
Since Turkey is the main dish don’t forget that there are many ways how you can cook it:
- Roast Turkey
- Smoked Turkey
- Fried Turkey
- Grilled Turkey
To make your Thanksgiving special, surprise all your guests by cooking a Smoked Turkey, if you cooked Fried Turkey last year, believe me, people love to try new things!
If this Thanksgiving is special in your life, let’s say you are planning to meet your future husband parents, or you haven’t seen your lovely ant who lives in Germany for many years and you invited her for a big family reunion, please cook few delicious masterpieces and serve your table well.
First impressions are the most lasting. Proverbs

Happy Thanksgiving Mood.
To make our thanksgiving really wonderful, we need few more secret ingredients, one of them is the great and positive mood… You want to go the extra mile on this one and make sure each family member will have fun, yes, even if you have 80 people at your place (just group them correctly based on their social interactivity patterns).
Get creative and purchase a few classic board games such as Risk, Monopoly or Scrabble, your guests (at least one guest category) would absolutely love playing them. For others, you can offer to watch on TV live Thanksgiving parade or football or choose a very interesting topic for group discussion, can be literally anything.
But, what if:
- I’m a college student who lives 2000 miles away from my family and all tickets are sold, I won’t be able to make it in time to my parents’ house.
- Or maybe you are single mother or dad with two or three kids and travelling to other states, not even an option.
Not a problem! Please, send invites to your close friends (2 – 10 people), and invite them to dinner (if you have time to cook) or potluck (ask everybody to bring at least one favourite dish). Nothing extraordinary, keep it easy on yourself! Make it simple and fun, I’m sure you will have a wonderful time together!
